Submissions for the 2026 Play Lab are now closed. If you have have a really good reason why they should consider your work, email the Coordinator.

Selected authors must register for the Conference (June 6-13, 2026) and be present for the reading in Valdez, Alaska. Registration is $250 (including all activities, a 2-hour glacier cruise, and daily lunch). Travel to Valdez is also the playwrights’ responsibility. Minimal free communal housing is available.

Alaskans and past participants have until November 20 to submit. The Conference will consider the first 300 submissions from playwrights who don’t meet either of those criteria.
